Mieke Bal， 荷兰文学家。生于1946年3月14日。1991年开始任职于阿姆斯特丹大学文学理论教授。1993年创建了阿姆斯特丹文化理论研究院（Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis, Theory and Interpretation (ASCA)).
著名于她关于从女权方面看圣经的三部曲和关于叙述的理论。
Mieke Bal于1977年毕业于Utrecht大学的法语及类似文化科学专业。1987到1991年工作于纽约的Rochester大学的外国语学院。1991年起主要任职于阿姆斯特丹大学（学理论教授）。同时于1991到1996也作为访问学者到Rochester大学进行形象及文化科学学习。
2005年，Mieke Bal被授予荷兰皇家学院教授，她是第一个女性被授予这个荣誉。
