因此,我们应该说:广告,有存在的必要,但是,由于信息的不对等,广告发布者(厂商)和广告受众(公众)之间,明显存在前者可以欺骗、愚弄后者的条件

本来,如果广告发布者按良心办事,或者依法办事,公布的信息都是准确无误的,那么广告确实是好东西,扩大产品知名度,让想买的人知道在哪可以买到——这本来是好事

但现在之所以广告受人讨厌,之所以公众对广告(尤其是电视购物类广告、医药类广告等等)非常反感,就是因为,广告方宣传虚假信息,欺骗消费者——现在的广告,都没人敢信了;被广告欺骗了,有苦无处诉……

目前的广告,如果现状不被改变,如果依然任由虚假宣传者纵横天下,那么,广告的现在和将来,绝对是弊大于利

我们并不是要对“广告”这个东西一棍子打死,说它有害无利,不是
我们之所以在为大家分析“广告弊大于利”,恰恰是要提醒大家,看清目前广告业的弊端。

  Advertisements can be seen everywhere in modern society. They appear on the TV screen. They occupy a conspicuous place in newspapers and magazines. They are displayed or painted on walls and even on buses. Indeed, it is difficult nowadays to find a public place without advertisements.

  It is true that in economic activities advertisements play an important role. They tell people about new products and help promote sales. Unfortunately some of the advertisements are not true. They cheat consumers one way or another. So, admitting that advertisements can help us, we should also beware of them from time to time.

 Nowadays ther are a lot of false advertisements in society. They have caused many harms to society. Generally, their harms can be listed as follows. 

  First, they exaggerate the functions of the goods they advertise and mislead consumers. Second , some advertisements contain obscene contents and bring about spiritual pollution. Third, they seriously damage the credit of businesses because the shops which sell those goods will be distrusted and even considered the conspirators of those advertisers by consumers.

   Personally, I am usually vigilant against any advertisements and so I have never been taken in. However, some people are credulous and are easily taken in.  Therefore, in my opinion, effective measures must be taken to ban false advertisements and protect consumers’ interests. First, all the advertisements must be strictly censored by the authorities concerned before they are published. Besides, severe punishment must be inflicted on those who publish illegal advertisements.

   In conclusion, false advertisements must be eliminated in our society

However, we cannot belittle the disadvantages of the ads. ①To many ads do spoil our daily life and waste our time. They interrupt the TV programs, filling our letterbox, and ruin our appreciation of nature in place of interests. People often feel burdened with the ads instead of satisfying with them. ②On the other hand, some of the ads are illegal, spreading false information and planning to treat people who are eager to solve their problems. 

It’s high time we took urgent and effective measures to curb this phenomenon. ①Firstly, we should intensify the effects to supervise the ads markets. It’s crucial that we must regulate the ads market strictly to avoid someone’s availing himself or herself of the loophole of the market management. ②Secondly, whoever takes advantage of ads treating consumers should be punished or imprisoned. ③Thirdly, we should educate people to abide by the law and give priorities to honesty and credit. Only when putting these measures into practice, will our society be purified into a paradise for us to live in.

Nowadays, no matter where you get around in a city or even in the countryside, it is pretty easy for you to find one or two signs introducing a product. This has been increasingly becoming popular in our daily lives. Whether the influence of advertising is good or bad could be examined as follows. 
We will start by talking about the merits of advertising. Firstly, advertising is informative, which provides the customers with a quick access to the product needed. Take me as an example. I am a new resident of Guangzhou, a metropolitan city located in the south of China. At the very beginning when moving to this city, I did not have a clue about where to purchase all of the necessities for my newly-bought flat. However, advertising involves some defects and I would like to list two of them herein. Initially, the popularity of advertisements has been growing along with the increased layout of design as well as showing up in the marketplace more frequently. The cost will definitely be passed on to the customers. Furthermore, the generation Y would probably lose their individuality because many of them buy the same goods advertised constantly in media during a certain period of time, which makes them appear alike. 
After the above analysis of the pros and cons, I tend to be in favor of the positive effects. Undoubtedly, nothing is more important than living in a society where ordinary people can enjoy the conveniences and competitive prices brought by commercials. I believe that the negative effects can be minimized through sustainable economic growth and education.
